Nicolas Paris, CEO of Gilson, Inc., is a marketing data scientist and an expert in sustainable development of businesses in the lab instrumentation industry. He has a creative mind with a keen eye for innovation and values openness, achievement, and trust. He earned his master’s degree in marketing and finance and also has a master’s degree in direct marketing and data management from the University of Lille, France, and Wolfgang Goëthe University of Frankfurt, Germany. His early professional years were dedicated to international marketing management and product management within the automotive industry, which led to executive positions at Gilson. During his career, he has helped develop numerous award-winning products and services spanning both the biotech and high-tech industries. He became a pioneer of wearable technologies at Eyeneo and was at the forefront of developing the first multimedia eyewear. Nicolas is a significant change agent and instrumental in adapting companies to the evolving global scientific and technical markets. Growing up in France and having spent most of his life traveling and working in different countries, he has finally made Madison, Wisconsin his home, where he is married and raising a happy bi-cultural family.
Brian Ritzow, SVP Chief Financial Officer, is a Certified Public Accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting and analysis, budget, and cost management. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison before starting his career with KPMG as an Auditor. Since then, Brian has worked in multiple manufacturing environments and has led global financial teams, where he helped provide insightful strategic financial planning, operational streamlining, internal control optimization, and acquisition integration. In his free time, Brian enjoys working on classic cars & motorcycles, attending Badger sporting events, and staying active outdoors by biking, fishing, golfing, scuba diving, or snowboarding. He lives in Muskego, WI, with his wife and two kids.
Hervé Le Dorze, VP of Global Quality, is a dedicated professional with decades of experience overseeing quality with global organizations. He graduated from the ESDE Business School and specialized in Industrial Management. In addition to his studies, he has completed several certifications in specific categories related to quality like Environmental Management, Software Quality, and Statistics. Before joining Gilson, Hervé held quality positions in both the hydraulic and automotive industries. He has experience with different quality standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and ISO 17025, that he acquired working with Gilson’s various entities. He values teamwork and helping employees. In his free time, Hervé enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and playing sports.
Alissa Lawton-Teig, VP of Human Resources, is a dedicated professional with exceptional leadership, strategic vision, and a deep commitment to our employees. She holds a degree in Organizational Leadership and Development and is a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional. With almost 15 years of experience in the HR field, she’s held numerous roles, including HR Generalist, Talent & Acquisition Specialist, HR Manager, and Director of HR. One of Alissa's greatest strengths is her belief and understanding that people are a company’s most important asset. In her free time, Alissa enjoys spending time with family, boating, golfing, and watching kids activities.
Magalie Eveno, Senior Director of New Product Development, earned a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, with a focus on Organic Synthesis Chemistry, from the Professionalized University Institute of Nantes, and completed a Master's degree in Chemical and Biological Risk Management. These degrees both help her better understand the life science market and our customers' needs. After graduating, she worked within the food supplement and pharmaceutical industry, which provided her with extensive leadership experience in New Product Development as well as Operations and Lean transformation. One of Magalie’s greatest assets is her ability to support multiple teams across the company and forge links with them to make improvements in all areas of our business, including market development and product organization. In her free time, Magalie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, walking on the coastal paths. She loves traveling to discover different cultures, but also cinema, reading novels, and a bit of fitness.
Corey Knautz, Senior Director of Industrial Operations, has extensive experience and a proven ability to drive positive change. He brings fresh insights and innovative ideas to propel Gilson to new heights. His expertise in streamlining processes, improving efficiency, and maximizing productivity is invaluable for creating a seamless customer experience. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Operations Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater before starting his career in operations. He has held many roles in global sourcing and materials management throughout his career. He joined Gilson in 2020 as a Supply Chain Manager and has grown in his role since then to become our Senior Director of Industrial Operations. In this role, he is responsible for industrialization, production, and sourcing for all our locations on a global level. In his free time, Corey enjoys golfing and playing pool.
Vanessa Charpentier, Legal Manager, is a dedicated professional with more than a decade of experience in legal departments of global organizations. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Law and then, in Intellectual Property from the University of Paris XII and Montpellier, France. She started her career as a Legal Specialist at Microsoft, then worked in a major law firm, and joined Gilson as the Intellectual Property Legal Counsel before being promoted to the role of Legal Manager. In her free time, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her family and son as well as travelling, listening to music, dancing, and teaching dances.
Ronan Herry, Director, Head of Sample Separation Strategic Category, is an experienced professional with ~30 years of experience , working in different positions at Gilson, from Customer Support Management to Category Management. Ronan has always been listening to the market and the customers and is a strong believer of the workflow approach to build products portfolio. He holds a degree in Chemistry. In his free time, Ronan enjoys running and time with family.
